To reach this goal we have designed four levels of courses to accommodate various levels of experience and trainee goals.

The foundations course is designed for those just starting in simulation...
It is structured to be interactive, hands-on, and to help participants develop an understanding of simulation that will give them good basics from which to further develop. Participants leave understanding the challenges and will have confidence that they can develop a sound strategy in program implementation.The course is commonly held at your center to allow your faculty to develop using the equipment they will have access to. Options to use other centers also exist if your institution does not currently have a center. Features:

• Develop scenarios
• Experience debriefing first hand
• Introduction to facility design
• Learn about center operations
• Develop strategies to build a strong infrastructure
• Learn about strategies on integrating simulation into curriculum.
The multi-month courses are highly customized to the individual and institution.
• Number of participants varies
• The course is generally divided into 4 phases spanning up to 6 months.
• Participants are mentored and expected to utilize tools and skills in real and functioning simulation environments.
• Their hands-on experience is monitored and anchored with intensives interspersed through the six month period.
• Participants are expected to finish the course with considerable comfort in simulation and simulation program development
